Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Sozo (“Sozo,” “we,” “our”) turns a team's standard operating procedures into reliable AI automation: you show Sozo a procedure once, and it runs the same way every time. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, book a demo or use the Sozo platform.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Waitlist and contact information: your work email, name, company, role and how often your task runs, when you join the waitlist or book a demo.
- Account information: your name, email address and sign-in details when you use the platform.
- Procedures and recordings: the steps, screenshots and video captured when you record a procedure, and the rules Sozo learns from them.
- Run data: the inputs you send to a procedure, the results it returns, a replay of each run, and an audit trail of who ran, changed or approved it. This data belongs to your organization and is processed on your behalf.
- Credentials and browser sessions: sign-in details and session data you provide so Sozo can reach the websites and tools a procedure uses.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used and performance metrics, so we can improve the service.
3. How we use your information
- Provide and operate Sozo, including recording, running and replaying your procedures.
- Run procedures on your organization's behalf, including submitting the information a procedure needs to the websites it visits.
- Detect when a website or tool changes, flag the affected step and propose a fix for your approval.
- Contact you about the waitlist, demos and early access.
- Send transactional emails, such as run results, steps that need review and account notices.
- Improve our services through aggregated, de-identified usage analytics.
- Respond to support requests and share product updates.
4. Third-party services
We use third-party service providers for hosting, cloud browsers, AI processing, CAPTCHA solving, email delivery and demo scheduling. We share data with them only as needed to deliver the features you use. When a procedure runs, Sozo visits third-party websites on your behalf and submits only the information that procedure requires. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and role-based access controls. Every run, change and approval is recorded in an audit trail. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Data retention
We keep waitlist information until you ask us to remove it or we no longer need it to contact you. We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Procedures, recordings, run history and audit trails are kept until you delete them or close your account. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies and browser storage for sign-in and to remember your settings. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Unsubscribe from waitlist and product emails at any time.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will tell you about material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
